The room was clean and tidy. Basic but great price. We didn't see any staff but had a contact number if we needed it.

Our stay at this motel was very disappointing. The room was unclean, with visible spots on the carpet, a disgusting single sofa, and an unclean microwave that we had to wash before using. The freezer had a thick layer of ice frozen on its walls and ceiling, clearly showing it hadn’t been cleaned or defrosted for quite some time. Cutlery and a TV were provided, but the TV was placed in a very inconvenient location, nearly in front of the bathroom door rather than facing the bed or sofa. No shampoo or conditioner was provided, which was surprising given that the stay was relatively expensive compared to other nearby options. Additionally, the accommodation is located right next to a graveyard, so the view from the balcony is not pleasant. The major reason we will never stay here again was the extremely rude staff. When we asked the cleaning staff about replacing towels, emptying dustbins, and arranging the bed, they responded rudely, asking, “Don’t you clean the dustbins at your home? Didn’t you see the big bin outside the motel?” The administration later clarified that room service was not included in the original booking and would require an extra payment. While we understood this policy, it was disappointing because many cheaper motels provide basic room service as part of the stay. Rather than simply making customers accept their room service policy, the motel should focus on improving their services, as other motels offer much more competitive services at lower rates. Even so, the staff eventually cleaned the dustbins and provided fresh towels, but the attitude was unacceptable. From the replies to guest comments in the reviews, it’s evident that rude and dismissive behavior is a recurring problem at this motel. We strongly suggest the administration view comments as constructive feedback rather than defending staff behavior. Providing customer service training, improving cleaning standards, and offering basic amenities would significantly enhance the guest experience.

We stayed two nights over a weekend, all was acceptable to ok, but a lack of maintenance in our room was evident. A broken off ceiling fan blade and a broken toilet seat, along with the dullest light globe possible in the bathroom (a pet hate of mine). No actual staff present over the weekend, just a number to call. I contacted management after our stay and to their credit, they did respond telling me they have a constant maintenance program. I'm just not sure how constant? Overall, I thought the price we paid per night was at the top end for a motel of this standard and in return, I would have expected a bright light and them to be better on top of their maintenance program. Not the end of the world, but would I stay again.... probably not.
