The recreation of a Japanese styled inn has been done very well. The room has a minimalist traditional styling and I really like the small patch of yard in front of the room. The ofuro bath is nice and deep and I'm very impressed with how quick the tub can be filled. The negative was the futon and if I had the choice, I would probably choose a standard bed as with the futon you can really feel the edges of the tatami mat below it. Other than that, the walls in the room were also not very soundproof with footsteps outside can be heard and especially very amplified in the early mornings, along with the sound of the door going into the lounge/restaurant area being opened and closed. The staff were very courteous though and accommodating to your stay. If you can get this accommodation at a special price then I think it's fine but I do think it's slightly a bit on the pricey side otherwise considering not a lot of facilities it offers.

We enjoyed the hospitality in the Japanese way, including the omakase dinner. The room with the little garden matched the photo. A real comfy futon, too. It was also nice to have a real ofuro bath.

Very relaxing environment

This was such a different and lovely getaway. Went with a friend and had an excellent remedial massage and the ramen dinner. Gorgeous room and lovely local places to walk. Staff are so helpful and lovely. Highly recommended.

We really loved the feeling of Japanese culture and the green tea bought us with the delicious biscuits. The staff were really friendly. The facility was clean and the smell of the whole place kind of gave it an authentic vibe.
