Considering the high risk of being in nearby Arad, it's really impossible to complain about small issues that are caused by the same instigators. Szeged is a frontier town but it is an elite university town and the pool of young students and recent grads obviously creates a competitive local labor market, systems here are better managed than in Budapest. Look out the train window and see the education, self respect and professionalism of the area farmers.

Excellent value
From helpful, friendly staff to excellent wifi, water pressure, well-equipped, spacious rooms with good AC and good beds, I highly recommend this hotel. It's just outside the historical zone.
