Round Barn Lodge

The hotel was nice and cute and they had a pool when you walked in. You were able to see it from the lobby, but I am warning you do not get room number 101 room number 102 because they happen to joining door on the wall it is like a family room for big family or something, but unfortunately, they booked us in room 102 and there was a mother with 3 loud screaming children that we heard through the walls fortunately enough, and for some reason, the mother with the children complained and moved to rooms before we had a chance to complain about the noise the receptionist moved out of the room into the room and we heard children through the wall yet again the hotels we stayed was one of the most frustrating ones very loud noises from other hotel guests. Hard to get comfortable when it feels like you have little sisters screaming in the next room.

We stayed 2 nights with the intention of seeing House on the Rock & Wisconsin Dells. The location was perfect for that. The staff were friendly & helpful. The room was large & clean. We loved the cozy fireplace. We found the walls to be a little thin. We could hear our neighbor's toilet flush almost as loud as ours. The outside door closest to our room had no key card lock to it, which didn't make us feel the safest. The pool was so nice, but we wish there was a hot tub. On top of that, there were jets in the tub in our rooms but they had been disabled & you weren't allowed to use the bath as a bath, only as a shower. Our stay was great, but improving these things could have made it exceptional.
