Crater Lake Gateway-Rocky Point Resort

Did not expect to wake up unable to take a shower, let alone a morning pee. This place most likely has experienced low water pressure before. No need to schedule maintenance and shut it off at peak times, however. We packed and left.

No other guests. Amenities, what amenities? Boat promised available and the restaurant wasn’t even open. No one on site either! There was no store open. No toilet paper in the room. No internet. No TV. JOKE! We LEFT!!! Locals in the trailer park with tarps covering their trailers arguing horribly with “hotel locals”. Police involved. Very unsafe. Contacted owners - we even offered to stay another time because of this experience being so out of what I read about. I’ve contacted them on social media, phone calls, Yelp, email, no response since they stole our money! Blatant stealing! Someone at their “hotline” told us the owner would directly call us back. NOPE! Do not do it! Not ADA compliant. A true disgust of a place.

This might have been my favorite stop on our Seattle-LA road trip so far. Both the surrounding area and campgrounds are astonishingly beautiful.
