I've stayed in a few places around the same area, and am glad I found this one. The location is convenient to get anywhere in Ulster County, though the specific area it's located in is a bit rough so lock your cars. The breakfast is great every morning and the coffee was actually really good. The room we stayed in was large enough for my small family and had a tub for my little one. There were some issues with the room in general, however. One of the doors had come off the closet and it wasn't fixed before our check-in...and...oddly...our room didn't have a phone. We told them a few times but never received one. And yes, it was supposed to have one. They came right over to fix the closet, though. The place is a bit rundown overall, but for the price, I wasn't surprised. The best part of this place is the pool/arcade/fitness center. In between activities, we spent literally hours swimming. They do NOT have a hot tub. The pool was in great shape and the bathrooms near by were kept very clean. Our room was right next to the guest laundry as well as the Maids area but we were never bothered by sounds and the maids were all very friendly. The breakfast staff were also kind and friendly. I'm currently in a Holiday Inn writing this review, and I can definitely say the Holiday Inn is nicer and newer, but it's also more expensive and the pool is shutdown for whatever reason. I think overall we liked the Best Western better for the price point (and for the pool). If I visit that area again, I'll choose this Best Western.

Enjoyed the hotel. Hotel was quiet, cozy, and clean with spacious parking. Breakfast included in the hotel was also satisfying. Staff members could be a bit more attentive and friendly. Overall, satisfied with the hotel stay.

It was a little run down and arcade is out dated. The credit card machine didn't work. The pool was okay but the hot tub? What hot tub? Staff tried rushing us out by 10am for a 12pm check out. Asked us 3 times that morning to leave. Hallways were dark.

One of the servers on the night shift was extremely rude and had a terrible attitude. I won’t be coming back.

This is a solid hotel in a good location for exploring Kingston’s stockade district or jumping on the highway. It’s in the business district part not the quaint area, but that’s just a 3 min drive or 15 minute walk. We booked last minute so it was more expensive than I’d usually want for a Best Western but also far less expensive than other hotels (that honestly aren’t dramatically nicer for $100 more a night). Only complaint was that the room had a slightly stuffy smell. Otherwise all good! Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean. There’s free breakfast that’s hot and tasty. Lots of parking. Easy peasy.
