First off if you are looking for a 4-5 star hotel in the middle of the Kanas plains don't bother stopping. The owners were super nice and friendly to our group of 6 family for our trip out West. Oakley is a small town that is trying to survive the plight of most other small towns in America. If you want a decent room to lay your head for the night and can over look the worn (desk) furniture some camo duct tape in the top corner in the bathroom and a few other things that need replacing, PLEASE stay here for the night. The owners are trying to rejuvenate the building, but it does take time. It was a hot day when we pulled in for the night and the owner was happy to get the AC turned down to start cooling the room and the next morning my husband went looking for the ice machine and again the owner was happy to grab a few small bags of ice he had ready if someone asked.

It was ok but wasn't the cleanest and the breakfast was not good at all. There is a language barrier with staff, asked for extra pillows and was given an extra blanket.

Surprisingly excellent
This was the best place we stayed along I-70, by far. And it was also the cheapest. Check-in staff was friendly, reasonable, and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable. Located around a mile away from the highway. Would definitely stay here again.
