This is such a lovely almost retro style motel. In summer I’m sure it would be better but in winter, never again! I have them a second chance thinking my last experience was a one off, I got a deluxe queen room, it had the same heating/cooling unit - a 1980’s air conditioner mounted in the wall… yes the old school one. They are awesome air con but for heating? Forget it! Turns off at 18 degrees then turns cold and keeps the room colder … same as my last stay! As for the owner, rude abnoxious and shouldn’t be there. She was so unhelpful and almost refused to give me a portable heater after complaining about being freezing cold for about 40 minutes, she finally gave me a small portable heater! I meant to tell her “I beg your house isn’t this cold at midnight” when she told me to put a jumper on!

Freezing No Heating
