Buffalo Motel and Country Retreat

Very nice beautiful place, quiet,peaceful place, Love to go back again, but we had just little problem with shower,it tooks time to hot water come out of shower head and even shower head was worst ,not enough water to wash ur body omg…. Its water saving shower head but it kills to wash and you have to spend more time in the shower , please if you chane the shower head we can have quite shower ,,,,its all a bout showering . Otherwise everything els was good 😊

Bit out of town but lovely surrounds, newly renovated room, comfy bed

The room was comfy, clean and quiet. Didn’t see any staff all stay and I had to call when we arrived to check in and she was a little rude. Otherwise we had a nice enough stay.

This exceeded our expectations from what we saw online. The grounds are really pretty and it’s super quiet there. Bed was super comfy and split system worked a treat! Bathroom was extremely clean and so was the rest of the room. Quick drive into bright which was handy being there for the Buffalo Stampede. Families with babies: - floor was extremely clean so good for a crawler to stretch out! - enough room right next to the bed on either side for a portacot. - kettle in the room for hot water and fridge as well. - no microwave to heat up food or sterilise things in the room, so be organised and prepared to take your things over to the back deck area outside to use a microwave, can be tricky if you’re solo with baby or need to sterilize something during the night, or while your baby is sleeping in the room. - Wifi wasn’t functional so couldn’t connect any baby monitor stuff without hotspot and a second device which we thankfully had. Felt extremely safe there and the host was so easy to get a hold of and super friendly. Would aaaabsolutely stay again.

We were upgraded to a room with bigger bed. The bed was comfortable and made very nicely. Great property with big yard. Well equipped with heating mattress, heater in the bathroom and bedroom. Restaurant was closed as we were only 2 rooms at the time but that wasn't a problem as a few minutes drive to town.
