Ratho farm has great rooms and amazing staff, the booking Page does not do it enough justice. Delicious food. Make sure to look up in the dark to see the milky way and at the creek at dusk for the platypus. Just know it is away from major atractions.

Farm stay
Check in time is late - 3pm. Room was looking towards creek, loved the location and ambiance so stayed an extra night. First night was a busy night for them so dinner was offered. Had Gordon a local come during dinner to talk about Ratho which added to the occasion. Meal was ok but 3 courses wasn't what we wanted. Was able to just do what courses you wanted so not $65. Steak wasn't anything special and other courses wasn't either. More the experience that we enjoyed. Room had microwave, fridge and kettle but no toaster. Fridge was noisy so turned it off overnight. Would recommend.

Memorable stay
We had the most memorable time at Ratho farm, the people we met and the wonderful hosts Richard and Ros, the stories that were shared by the fireplace will stay with us for a long time. Thank you very much and we hope to visit again one day. Much love from Singapore.

Delightful Rare Experience
Victorian homestead surrounded by farmland and an 18 hole golf course. Uninterrupted views across the highlands and charming creek running through complete the picture. Michael is the perfect host and dinner offers the opportunity to meet other guests in a convivial setting . We sighted a wild platypus in the creek.
