Daintree Riverview Lodges

First impressions was a bit confusing, But once we figured things out, loved it. The lady at reception (when we eventually found it) was lovely. She booked us onto a crocodile tour which was awesome. Pub across the road had really good food.

Beautiful location, room had great A/C and a fabulous view! Crocodile tours operate from the jetty below, viewing the river is mesmerising, is that a crocodile? is that a logodile? Find out on a crocodile boat trip! On arrival there's a charming museum of Australiana for a few minutes diversion. Over the road is a pub with a lovely landlady serving cold beers of course and meals - excellent burger if you don't fancy the croc wrap or burger? ! Then there's Croc Xpresso for breakfast and lunch (and if you want decaff, this is the place for you!) Use it as a base for all the rainforest activities! Brilliant place!

Best view motel with all basic facilities. The owner was so good and even they made us dinner as there was no shops open on Boxing Day. They were so nice people and made our stay so valuable. Highly recommend

Lovely place to stay with a great view over the Daintree River. Room comfortable, but it's all about the deck. Loved it. And the croc tours booked through the hotel were the best value in the area. Highly recommend!
