Good for children not couples
The facilities are good for children. But if you’re travelling as a couple there’s not really much. There is a hot tub but we did not use it. It would be better if they added some table and chairs in the garden play area to use for guests lunch or dinner. The building is low cost construction and poorly designed. This resulted in high noise levels. The refrigerator is also old and makes a very loud noise, had to switch it off at night. I feel the price is reflecting its proximity it Hobbiton. If you are planning to visit the Hobbiton movie set, make sure you book your tickets well in advance.
