Room is clean, as it is a newly-built one, the smell of carpentry can get very strong so do ventilate it. Shared facilities like kitchen, toilets, bathrooms are also very clean, even though they are dated. We requested for platewares from the reception and they happily passed it to us. Good pit-stop to explore the Tongariro area.
