Cottage Mews Motel

Myself along with my three children 8, 11 and 12 loaded the car and headed off for a getaway, now knowing where we would land. The healing waters of lake taupo said stop for a while here. We booked motels day by day, in case we wanted to move on. Cottage Mews was by far our favorite stay and we all wish we could have booked longer. The kids settled easily and were so happy that they had room to spread out and find their own space within the cottage. One took over the whole upstairs for herself setting up her own day spa in the spa bath area. The place was set up perfectly for a family and had lake acsess right at the back door. This made it easy for us to walk to where we needed to go and soak In the lake for as long as we wanted. The Cottage Mews host was beautiful and welcoming, this made us feel very comfortable throughout our short stay. We all agree that we will stay here again on our next holiday.
