This hotel seems like it has a lot of potential, but it feels like it's not being properly maintained. The outside of the property looked like it hadn't been cleaned or cared for in quite some time. The lobby and common areas were nice, but once we entered our room, it was a different story. The furniture was dated, and the carpet was so dirty that it turned my son's feet black after walking on it. The staff was friendly and helpful, which was definitely a positive. Unfortunately, both the pool and the laundry facilities were out of service during our stay. That was especially disappointing because one of the main reasons we booked this hotel was that my son loves to swim. Overall, while the staff made a good impression, the condition of the room and the unavailable amenities left us disappointed. If we're back in Sweetwater, we'll likely choose a different hotel.

As I was checking in, I noticed a bug what I thought was a cockroach. The more I looked around, I saw more of the same insects. My mom killed a couple as we were waiting to be checked in. When we finally got our keys, we headed to the staircase (because the elevator is out of order) and saw even more cockroaches all over. If it weren’t already 2 AM, we would’ve already left. Our room had an odor/smell. The bath tub was horrendous. There were brown/yellow stains and the shower head had green deposits on them. It was too disgusting to take a shower. Our bed sheets also had a stain to them. To top it off, during breakfast, the pancake machine was out of order. When I decided to just drink some milk, it was EXPIRED. By the way, the insects were still there the next morning. As I checked out, I voiced all my complaints to the staff. She assured me that the manager would reach out to me regarding my concerns. Obviously, they haven’t. And they wouldn’t answer their phones either. I contacted IHG directly and they informed me that the hotel charged my card WITHOUT my permission for another night and refunded as a way of “apologizing”. I don’t see what the point was because it was a net zero. It honestly baffles me how the management thinks their level of service provided is acceptable, especially at their price range. And the unprofessionalism of not reaching out and using my credit card without my permission.

Comfortable room & bed. Great staff. Very quiet. Delicious breakfast. Great location. Pool and hot tub not working was a disappointment

has a good indoor pool and hot tub. has a good exercise room. front desk people are wonderful.
