컴포트 스위트 하비 - 뉴올리언스 웨스트

First of all, the front desk lady informed me form the jump the elevator was broken, most of the doors to the rooms do NOT work properly and needs a hand held gadget that opens the door from the outside.. so every-time you leave out, it’s either take the risk of leavingthe door cracked open or alert the front desk EVERY TIME to let you back in. I got to my room and the TV was not working and I told the front desk and she was cool about it and gave me another room.. that TV didn’t work as well and the room had a unpleasant odor. All in all this hotel at moment is only good for adult activities or if you’re just really in a F*cked up situation and need a place to stay, I would not recommend this location if you’re used to convenience because this hotel is such a inconvenience especially if you have a companion with you.

There was a bad smell in the room. The carpet is very dirty, then needs to be remodeled and the hotel, including the smell.

I booked a different hotel and then about a week before my travel dates I did a search and found Comfort Suites to be $100+ less than what I had booked. My family had stayed there years ago before and were happy with our stay, so I decided to book Comfort Suites. For this booking, I don't recall seeing any notifications on the booking site of the hotel being under renovation, but it was. When we arrived around 8pm, they did not have a room ready for us. We booked a double suite but they said they only had king suites available. After a 30+ minute wait, they found a double that the hotel clerk had to stock with towels and toilet paper because "housekeeping was off" that day. She told us we could switch to a better room the next morning after housekeeping cleaned one. The room was ok. It was missing the lamp/wall sconce over the nightstand, but other than that, it was sufficient. The next morning I requested to be switched to a better room as we were told to do the night before. When they had one available, we moved all of our things to the new room but it was far from a better room and in fact was much worse. I told the clerk that the room was unacceptable and she stated, "What do you expect? We're under renovation." I told her that their company needs to make clear on all booking sites that this hotel is under renovation so future customers are not disappointed like we were. We ended up moving back to the first room and finished our stay, but it was not a pleasant experience and definitely not even worth what we paid.
