Great location, pleasant aesthetics, and welcoming innkeeper. However, second-floor room without standing shower and with slippery tub surface was difficult for a semi-handicapped guest.

Mary was a wonderful host. I had booked a quick trip (one night) on pretty short notice, so hadn't had time to fully plan out my meals. She provided several dinner recommendations that would meet my needs for the evening. Breakfast in the morning was yummy, and I lingered in the garden with book over my second cup of coffee - lovely way to start the day!

Owner did me a huge favor by getting a dozen roses and some champagne to be ready upon our arrival. It was our first weekend getaway as a couple and we couldn’t have picked a nicer place to stay. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Amazing breakfasts. Centrally located to mansions and downtown. Loved the owner and her dog. Definitely highly recommend this place.

Our hostess was super sweet, communicative before our arrival, and made the most delicious breakfast! The room was so perfect and cute, the bed was huge, the location was great and close to downtown Newport and all the attractions, would definitely stay here again!!

Loved this stop. Hostess was great, breakfast was awesome, other couple was a pleasure to meet, gardens, we’re very nice, and in the center of the action. Perfect for a quick overnight for our first time in NH and and on our Harley. Highly recommended. Hope to come back some day.
