Altoona Grand Hotel

We stayed at this hotel for one night while traveling from Ontario, Canada to Washington. The complimentary breakfast was similar to what you would find at most other hotels. The room looked clean at first, but there was a strong unpleasant odor in both the room and the bathroom. It smelled like a dirty mop that had been reused without being properly cleaned. The swimming pool looked nice in the photos, but in person it did not appear very clean, so we decided not to use it. There was only one clothes hanger in the closet, which was inconvenient for a family. The shampoo and body wash were not stocked well, so we had to keep asking the front desk for more. In addition, the bathroom sink had very low water pressure. On the positive side, the location was excellent. There is a Target, Dunkin', and several stores and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel lobby and dining area were clean and well maintained. Overall, the hotel was quiet and reasonably priced. Despite a few issues, it is a decent option for a family staying for one night.ption for a family staying for one night. 우린 온타리오주 에서 워싱턴 여행중에 1박 하였습니다. 조식은 일반 다른 호텔과 비슷한 했습니다. 룸은 보기엔 깨끗했으나 화장실과 룸에서 냄새가 많이 났습니다. 사용했던 걸레를 또 사용하거나 오래 사용하고 깨끗이 안 씻은 걸레를 사용했을때 나는 냄새 였다. 수영장이 사진으로 보았을때 좋아 보였으나 막상 직접 가서 보았을때 청결해 보이지 않아서 수영장 이용을 안했습니다. 옷걸이가 하나 밖에 없어서 아쉬웠고 샴푸나 바디 소프등이 넉넉하지 않아서 데스크에 계속 요청 해야 했습니다. 그리고 세면대 물이 잘 나오지 않았습니다. 하지만 위치는 좋았습니다. 근처에 타겟도 있고, 던킨 도넛등 마트와 식당이 도보 거리에 있었습니다. 호텔내 로비와 식당은 깨끗하고 좋았습니다. 조용 하고 저렴하기 때문에 가족과 1박 하기엔 좋을것 같습니다

I'd say it's worth it. Staff is really nice, it is clean, they have a breakfast. What I wasn't is into was the pool was closed, the breakfast is a little small if you're staying on a weekday, and I was near the front entrance where the smokers gather. I like things quiet and they talk really loud. Wouldn't have been a problem though if I was farther away. It wasn't that expensive though, so I say four stars

All was great. Only thing, mattress moves because not on box spring . On plywood slab. Odd. But sleep well
