Alaskan Adventure Dry Cabins

The room was cute and well-organized. This dry cabin was a fun experience, staying with an outside bathroom. Not much far from Fairbanks and North Pole, but it is dark enough and quiet, good location to see Aurora.

If you're looking for a place to escape the city lights, this is the place for you. The host is super responsive and accommodating . The cabin had a fully stocked kitchen, so many board games, DVDs, books and a TV. It is about 15 miles from the city. Please note that this is a dry cabin, which means there is no restroom or shower inside the cabin. They have an outhouse as a restroom and no shower. But we didn't mind it since we were there for the experience. I just wanted to mention it in case it matters for your decision. We went there in May, but if you are planning to see the Northern lights in winters, this cabin is perfect. You wouldn't have to leave your room to see the lights. The cabin has a big window in the perfect direction and location for you to be able to see it. All in all we loved the experience and it was worth every penny (which wasn't even expensive). If we go to Fairbanks in the winters to see northern lights, we'll definitely go back.
