After booking a room through this hotel on ogodia on November 16th to check in and check out on November 17th, the front desk so-called manager I'm assuming name Sandy had the audacity to call down to the front desk and ask for us to be removed from the hotel due to an issue we had earlier that morning from a fall because she failed to accommodate guess and put us in a room on the first floor instead of having my son who just had came out of the ER that morning from breaking his ankle, and falling on the floor it is true that the floor signs were up but if she would accommodated us and put us on the first floor we probably would have never had an issue. At 2:00 in the morning I chose to go downstairs and speak to Neo at the front desk, who informing at that time that were rooms that were available on the first floor and there was no reservation for them and if we wanted to move we could. At that time I told him no, we wait until the front desk manager got there which was the GM, after coming out of my room on the morning of Thursday the 16th before checking out that day, I heard a bunch of commotion downstairs and my son had slipped and fell in the middle of the lobby. Two of the housekeepers came over to help him one of which he was mopping at the time helped him get up off the floor. At this time the lady Sandy at the front desk chose to stand behind the front desk and not come around to help my son up off the floor. She didn't have to bother with removing me from the property property but I promise you this we will go the extra mile to make sure we stay in close contact with Choice Hotels because her customer service and personality. Is terrible.

Checked in and left for the afternoon when entering the room for the first time, it smelled horrible like someone had smoked in the room, there was a garbage bag placed over the smoke detector! When I went to speak with the front desk, she was rude, unhelpful to say the least! And not willing to move our room! Then another customer was also there complaining of something. As I walked away the front desk staff and customer got into a swearing match and things were thrown off of the counter. Felt like I was in an unsafe place would never stay here again!

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I have to this time. We were assigned a room that had apparently been occupied by a long-term guest who had a cat. At first glance, the room looked clean, but the moment we opened the door, we were hit with a strong cat urine smell. We called the front desk, and a staff member came to check the room. At first, she told us there were no other rooms available and offered to spray an air freshener instead. We’re generally pretty easygoing, so we agreed to give it a try, but the smell was so strong that it didn’t help at all. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the staff member acted as if they couldn’t smell anything. It felt like they were pretending there wasn’t a problem. Only after we insisted that the room was uninhabitable did they finally move us to another room. The second room had its own issue—the sound of running water could be heard constantly—but at least it didn’t smell, so we stayed there for the night. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. A room with such a strong odor should never have been assigned

Ended up checking out early because the noise level was just ridiculous. Asked to change rooms after dealing with a loud barking dog day and night non stop, after speaking with 3 different people got another room. Only to have the people next door blaring rap music into the hallways till after 11pm. Rooms were not clean bathroom in first room had a horrible smell and shower was filthy with mold and soap scrub. Cigarette ashes on the floor of the second room which was supposed to be non smoking. Overall it was a horrible experience.
