Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino

We spent the weekend at CGRC...Nice venue. We enjoyed. EXCEPT there are signs all over saying it is a smoke and vape free resort...BUT smoke everywhere and our clothes ended up smelling of smoke...when we got home. But...all in all we enjoyed it...the room, the casino, the many nice restaurants, and the valet parking

The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. They provided us with information about the casino and hiking sites in the area. The rooms were well maintained but the air filtration system was lacking and provided no escape from the smell of cigarettes coming from the casino floor. Luckily, the weather was nice and cracking the window seemed to resolve the issue. The views of the hillside from the rooms were amazing. As for the casino, I'd tell visitors to be mindful of the bartender you choose to complete your drink order. We were charged 3 different totals for the same drink order. We stuck with the bartender that charged us less. All that being said, I certainly plan on staying here again.

Don’t get me wrong I appreciate safety but the amount of checkpoint for Covid and security were way too much and made it a hassle and didn’t seem needed to me

Beds are comfortable and room was clean. Only thing was the ice machine was broken. Only option was to go to another floor and search for it. The pool area needs an update. Some tiles were broken or missing. Overall great stay.

I stayed at the resort for 3 days but they never cleaned my room during my stay. On my last day, I asked the front desk - and I was told that this is their procedure since the pandemic 2020. You have to tell them to clean your room. There is no sign in the room about this so they did not clean the room and never replenished the coffee, toiletries, or water. For how much I paid a night, this is a rip-off, and would not stay here again. Oh, one more thing, no one was able to assist me with planning a day trip to Yosemite. One would think that the front desk staff would at least know how to guide or make suggestions to customers. Oh, another thing, I was buying coffee and left my PC bag on the chair, I kept looking at it and next thing I know, someone took it... thankfully someone saw who took it - it was a hotel staff - he brought it to the security guard. Why would he take the bag without even asking someone? I was in line to buy a coffee. Unbelievable! Got me worried for nothing.
