I recently stayed at The Andrew Hotel in Great Neck, New York, and I have mixed feelings about my experience. First Impressions: Upon arrival, the exterior of the hotel presents a charming and well-maintained facade, setting a positive expectation. The lobby continues this impression, with its stylish and inviting appearance. This initial impression, however, contrasted sharply with my experience as I moved beyond these public areas. Room and Cleanliness: As I ascended to the guest floors, I noticed that the carpets in the hallways were stained and the walls bore signs of damage. Entering the room, it became evident that a refurbishment was overdue. The most concerning issue, however, was the cleanliness. Finding strands of hair on the floor and in the bathroom from a previous guest significantly detracted from my comfort and confidence in the hotel's hygiene standards. When staying at a hotel, the expectation is a spotless and well-prepared room; unfortunately, this was not the case here. Additionally, the television in my room had functional issues, further diminishing the overall quality of my stay. Facilities and Amenities: The breakfast room on the second floor, along with the breakfast offerings, felt outdated and not particularly clean. Value for Money: While the price point of The Andrew Hotel may be appealing, especially for those looking for a budget-friendly option in Great Neck, the shortcomings in cleanliness and maintenance were notable. An additional $20-$30 for a hotel with higher standards might be a worthwhile investment for those seeking a more consistently pleasant experience. Conclusion: The Andrew Hotel, with its attractive exterior and lobby, shows potential but is let down by the upkeep and cleanliness of the guest rooms and facilities. Attention to these details could greatly enhance the overall guest experience. For now, it might be worth considering other options in the area, unless you're on a strict budget and willing to compromise on these aspects.

Stuff were very friendly. Walking distance to train station made the facility very convenient. Parking is limited, but front desk would helped me find spot.

The location is conveniently located however the hotel room was very run down none of the cabinets would close they remained open all the paint is chipped the light in the bathroom didn’t work. The room was dirty and musty. We will not be staying here again the staff was friendly and helpful.

I believe people must recognise that this is a three star hotel. If you’re looking for anything more than you should not stay here. The place was clean. Limited housekeeping. Arriving after hours can be an issue. But they are busy with renovations so any Bell is not available to contact the after hours person.

Love the location & Raj the manager is very accommodating and professional
