Room was great and clean. Overall everything was fine for the dollar, but the Breakfast was a bit of a joke as they kept running out of food and coffee... and seating was very limited.

Safe had no batteries, ice machine was broken, checked out a day earlier then planned and couldn't get an invoice or receipt for my payment. I had to return following day to get my receipt.

I stayed at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Carson City for two nights and had a very disappointing experience, especially considering I am an IHG member. The room facilities are outdated and the soundproofing is extremely poor. On the first night, the guest upstairs kept making loud noises until 12:30 a.m., and then started again around 5:00 a.m. the next morning, making it impossible to get proper rest. When I asked the front desk to change rooms the next day, my request was refused with a poor attitude. This level of service is unacceptable for an IHG property. I even have audio recordings as evidence of the noise issue. Overall, the stay was very unpleasant, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially fellow IHG members.

Love this hotel, rooms, wifi, location, staff, breakfast was ok, beds super nice, rooms nice,,, only problem was that I got a huge rash on legs from jacuzzi.

The hotel did not live up to the Holiday Inn reputation for high quality and standards. It was definitely not worth the money! It was also disheartening as Holiday Inn Express & Suites is also considered an IHG Hotel There was NO Housekeeping the two days we were there! Even after the front-desk clerk asked at check-in if I wanted it done each day of our stay and I responded, Yes. The bed had not been made-up with clean linen nor the room vacuumed. Which would have been the minimum. The garbage canisters were not emptied, especially the one in the bathroom. It would have been nice (and expected) to have clean, fresh towels each day! The bathroom was the worse and certainly did not measure up to Holiday Inn’s standards. There were cracked tiles on the floor with a couple corners sticking up because of being broken and missing grout. This was especially concerning as we stepped out of the shower and needed to be careful not to step on the exposed corner of the tile. We could feel with our bare feet the area under the counter & sink had not been swept or mopped for a couple of days. We could tell the tub had been quickly wiped off some time previously because there were still streaks of residue on it. The shower had been wiped down, but not above 5 feet. Above five feet the shower walls were sticky with soap residue and hard water deposits. The containers of shampoo and body wash were empty! Behind the bathroom door, there was even wallpaper starting to peel. Something one might encounter in a 3rd rate hotel, not a Holiday Inn! Even the dead bugs in the overhead light cover in the main room made me question what type/quality of hotel we were staying in! Our second-floor ice-machine was broken and had been for a couple of weeks according to the front-desk clerk. I can understand a machine going out for a day or two, but for two weeks!?
