It's a nice and cozy hotel, a big plus is the heated pool and the  Keg restaurant co-located at the hotel lobby. Front desk staff could've been friendlier and more attentive.   It helps if you smiled, provided complete information, and did not sound condescending. 

I would have given 4 stars, but ...

Small room but good location especially with the Banff transit system.  We were disappointed to discover that there is no air conditioning which would have been welcomed as we were there on a hot day. The window does open which was a benefit. 
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our dinner at The Keg. 

Excellent

Our dim room on the 4th floor was a small, odd size and felt cramped, especially in the washroom. It seemed like the AC controls were capped at 20c making it a bit uncomfortable through the night. The hot pool and spa amenities were great, all staff very friendly.  Location was great. 

Slightly Outdated

A decent hotel for the price, not a bad location around 15 minutes walk into town and while the room felt a smidge dated it was pleasant, comfortable and clean and had all the facilities you'd need. I did room only so can't rate the breakfast etc. 

Value for money

I stayed 3 nights here and enjoyed my stay. The room was a smidge dated but pleasant and its just a 15-ish minute walk to the centre of town where all the cafes and restaurants are.  I couldn't really fault it.
