We enjoyed our stay at Quinta Bella. Great location, clean, friendly staff. Restaurants were pretty good. Will come back for sure.

Just what I expected. Relaxed guests enjoying a holiday. Great value for price, good restaurants. .

Great restaurants. The beach is not so good. The pools are great. It would be great to have a mini-fridge available.

My wife and I checked into Quinta Bella for 6 nights in early June. The Resort is quite nice, on the beach with about 6-8 different types of restaurants on site, open from 0700 until midnight. The grounds, pools and beach are great, although the beach is NOT swimmer friendly, as the tide changes are large and the wave/surge action is not manageable. The water is very warm! The location around the Resort is nice and quiet. There is a large well stocked grocery store, ChedRui, about a 10 minute walk. Inside is a phone store, open from 1100-1600, where you can buy a Mexican SIM card for about 250 Pesos. The temperature and humidity here make using a taxi, 35 Pesos each way, well worth the money! Taxis are readily available along the road and at a stand at the Store. There are several small cafe/restaurants near the Bella. One in particular is Bladu'Yu, and is excellent. Open from 0800-2000, it has a wide menu. We also found a Dive Shop next to the Resort. The only 'down side' to the Quinta Bella is the lack of a fridge in the room. I realize that the Resort would like everyone to take all their meals and drinks here, but being able to geta colfd drink at night would be very nice.

Quinta Bella Day 1, At check in Mar 1st at 3:50 pm - no room on lower floor - advised us of no elevator (not working yet) - room is on the 3rd floor (39 steps no handicap access) -may be able to change floors tomorrow In the room (#3015) -door hard to open (binding on the floor) - room faced street, parking lot (advertised as all rooms face the beach) - Wi-Fi does not work in the room - no access to English news channels on the tv - bathroom shower needed repair to stop water leaking all over the floor - bathroom lighting very dim - beach towels tattered and badly stained. Day 2, Next day room change. - Advised no other room available - Eventually convinced them to do something but would have to wait until 1pm. We had to be out of our room by 12:00. They would move our bags, etc. - They promised to call us on the cell phone, re when our room was ready, but no call came. - At the pool side (2:15 pm) ordered a lunch snack. When the order came, they messed up and brought the wrong order. Another 20 minutes later and we got what we ordered. Should not have left a tip but did. - At 3:15 pm I went to the desk and asked, they said “Yes our room was ready”. But when we went upstairs to room #2013, there was maintenance work going on and no sight of our luggage. - Back downstairs (17 steps less) to ask where our luggage was. They said it is in the closet. I said no it is not. Manager said I will show you. Up the stairs to 2nd floor room and the manger saw there was no luggage. Up to the 3rd floor room, door is locked. Manager calls on walkie talkie for a key. A few minutes later a Bell boy arrives without a key. Manager calls on walkie talkie again. Five minutes later the same Bell boy arrives again with a key. They open the door. This room is all cleaned up neat and tidy and there sat our luggage exactly where I left it. Manager talks to Bell boy who then said he will move our luggage to the new room. - Still no Wi-fi - Maintenance work carried on for another 15 minutes - Desk chair is missing a one of the foot pads so it wobbles like crazy. - Sheer curtain torn and in disrepair. - Room towels badly stained. - Inside the bathroom door, at the bottom edge 8 to10 inches in height of veneer strips are damaged and missing. - Sink drain stopper not working, can not keep water in the basin. - Sewer smell in bathroom if you don’t keep the floor drain covered. -TV has 3 annoying colour bands going from top of screen to bottom. - Pool umbrellas old and faded and not “Sunbella” material. Myrna got a sun burn (as well as I). Day 3, -Still no Wi-Fi, had to go downstairs to the lobby but still poor Wi-Fi, so had to use cell phone to do Airlines flight check-in. -Ready to leave Too bad as it is a nice setting and great pools.
