The location and hotel were great for a quick getaway. Good little breakfast as well. The only complaint I have is the pillows were very flat and lumpy.

Simple budget hotel with good location

First, my experience using AGODA for finding and booking a hotel for our southern California trip was very user friendly. I love that the prices shown are the prices you will pay!... without a bunch of additional fees/taxes tacked on at the end when you start the payment process. It made cost comparison within my budget so much easier. The only info that I searched on other sites was for customer reviews and actual hotel/motel star ratings by customers; but that was after AGODA helped me narrow down my choices. HAMPTON BUELLTON/SY VALLEY: detailed review SEPT 2024 SUMMARY: An overall clean, comfortable peaceful hotel stay during which there was very little more that we needed for Sunday-Weds. My dog is service trained and she was welcomed upon check-in. She also enjoyed her stay at this Hampton thanks to the nice multiple outdoor areas. The hotel is listed “pet-friendly” for dogs; however I did not hear or see any others during this stay. PEACEFUL? Our double-queen ground floor room (#s 120-140ish) was about halfway down the hall between reception/dining and a side exit. The window in our room looked toward the front of the hotel and road/parking. I did not notice any loud traffic or people noise outside. The window had a great blackout shade for privacy and guests who need sleep during day. There were no loud folks tromping through the halls or doors slamming; we were out during most day hours. Some impressively thoughtful features at this hotel are double doors leading to outside. The outer door is heavy, secure and auto-locks when it closes automatically behind you. Tap the box next to the door with your room key to enter 24/7 during your stay. Just inside, you will find an ice machine in this easily accessible small foyer. Even nicer, is that this ice machine location results in no related noise into the rooms!! The second door into the interior hall is heavy sound-dampening glass with soft-close. No slamming entry-exit doors as guests go in and out! Our next-room-neighbors seemed quiet, or maybe walls are decent for a hotel. We noticed mild door/tv sounds through the walls but nothing loud enough to disturb us. ACCESS TO OUTSIDE? There is a small vehicle roundabout (not for RV/trailers or huge vehicles) at the the side door which is extremely convenient for a quick loading zone! Parking was plentiful during our stay. This nearby door also allowed access to vehicle parking without going through lobby/dining. Main egress points and side exits had handicap access to parking and to rear areas of hotel with a small-ish nice-but-not-fancy pool. A short distance away are plenty of sitting areas to relax and dine, or enjoy the ambience of gas firepits and small burbling fountain. There are lots of photos of those outdoor amenities you can find in online reviews. ROOM? You will receive two room key cards upon checking in at the front desk. One of those cards MUST be placed into a device inside your room, and left inside that device while you are in the room. It is the “key” to turn on most of the lights and outlets! CONS: When I booked the room using third-party online service Agoda, it was listed including “full kitchenette”. The room we received did NOT have that amenity. Our stay was only a few days and I did not question the hotel staff. Price discount would be appreciated but I have not requested it yet. That room discrepancy, some rather noticeable stains on the carpet near where it transitioned to vinyl floor by the bathroom, and a bathroom door that allows privacy rating of “2” out of possible 10, are my complaints. DETAILS: The room did not have much free space around the 2 beds and multi-purpose cabinet but it was adequate for our needs this time. It had a small microwave and tiny refrigerator (no freezer cubby) set into the cabinet below the tv. There was only an attached desk/counter surface at the ends of this cabinet unit to work and/or eat at. There was no other chair or table in our room. Betwe
