The Bonita Lakes Inn is in a great location close to shopping and stores. It is worth the money, but our kids were looking forward to swimming in the pool that was advertised in the listing online. Upon arrival the pool was full of old nasty water and there was algae covering the sides of the pool. We stayed here a week and it was never cleaned! Why feature this amenity when it's not kept up and clean? Guests, including myself, pay to stay at this location and desire to have access of the pool. Very disappointed to say the least. The daily rate should be adjusted when featured amenities aren't in working order.

The outdoor pool was very dirty and wasn't cleaned at all for anyone to use. Plus, upon arrival we had to wait in the lobby an hour for a worker to return to the front desk. The manager on duty told us the person responsible at the front desk went on a 25 minute break that lasted well over 3 hours. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and even added an extra night's stay. Our room was very clean and tidy with comfortable queen beds. The shower was great with excellent water pressure for hot and cold water. Housekeeping staff is helpful and courteous, and generously gave us clean towels, extra soap and additional toilet paper twice. Besides the pool not being usable during our time of stay, I would return later in the future. The motel is in a great location close to Walmart, Dollar Tree, and many restaurants and businesses, which is a plus.

My review is based on a patron customer mindset; I've been staying here regularly for quite some time I've never had too much of an issue other than payment or charges related to check in and hotel policy. Recently housekeepers have been overly focused & excessively assertive on regards to my room for being demanded open in a very Lord and often offensive manner. As I am a patron at OYO I'm sure this issue & any other communications will be addressed privately with me & a solution be found to handle whatever scenario accordingly.

got there after i made the reservation and I got there and they claim they didn’t see the reservation and I end up having to pay out of pocket I showed them the confirmation I showed. I gave them the number still no reservation.

Overall it's the best option for the traveler on a limited smaller budget. I think they should be more up front like about breakfast not being available because of covid-19 they still advertise their breakfast bar. They also still advertising open pool and fitness center which is also not true. As far as the cleanliness the location and the staff it makes it worth the things that it advertises that they do not have. In my opinion the information should be corrected on the advertisement on the internet, instead of advertising things that are not available they should advertise what is that makes it worth the stay or the visit or the money you spend, example: the location the friendliness of the staff members and the willingness to accommodate things like a early check-in or a price match when paying in person, or don't use the internet for advertisements if you're not willing to advertise correctly and truthfully especially when running a business on and using third party apps or Internet services
