A small, family-run business. It’s an older place with a small room, but it’s clean. The room had a good-sized mini fridge and TV, along with a microwave and kettle. No extras like a pool, but at this price who cares? It worked perfectly for my needs; a place to stay while helping my daughter move out from Brock University, which was an stress-free 15 minute drive away and I could pick up both Tim’s and Starbucks without having to detour.

Washroom was leaking, but everything is good.
Place is clean. They don’t have main light. Just lamp shades in the corner. Bed is comfortable. Overall is good

Unpretentious lovely motel
We enjoyed our stay at Hipwell. The owners are very lovely, the nature around the motel is just beautiful and you can enjoy amazing sunsets from there. The room would benefit from a bit of an update, but everything is clean and well maintained. Definitely recommended.
