The property is tastefully decorated in classic Javanese style, with a spacious room featuring a comfortable bed, a table, kettle, hair dryer, and other basic amenities. Free drinking water is also provided, which is a nice touch. The parking area can accommodate a few cars, and the swimming pool is clean and well-maintained. On our first night, staff were playing loud music, but they kindly turned it off after we informed them. However, the environment is not particularly non-smoking friendly — staff were often seen smoking near the reception, and guests were allowed to smoke in the indoor living area. One of the towels provided was not very absorbent. Also worth noting: the hotel is located very close to a mosque, and the prayer calls (five times a day) are loud.

As advertised, the room is clean. Suitable for a short stay. If you're interested in history, you can come here. The place is quiet and suitable for relaxing.

Had an enjoyable stay here. Family room was pretty big, plenty of space for extra beds. Staff were nice too.

Paid a lower rate through Agoda compared to direct with hotel, definitely good value considering it was peak holiday season. The hotel has a traditional Javanese heritage charm, it was clean and comfortable, twin beds quite wide, staff quite friendly and willing to help. Great outdoor dining and pool areas. Location is not on a Main Street so relatively quiet, indomaret and warung2 nearby but not much else. The rooms are not sound proof as it’s heritage building, you can hear anyone using the pool which can be quite noisy.
