LCR HOTEL

Arrived on 28th September 2023 and stayed for 2 nights. There was no lift but there were rooms on ground floor for guests with mobility issues. The twin rooms were very clean and the hotel offered free transfers from and to the airport which only took less than 5 minutes. Free breakfast buffet started at 05.30 AM. Receptionist and the staff except the driver were courteous, helpful and diligent. Highly recommended for travellers seeking clean, secure and strategically located accommodation in Ende.

You can not except more better stay than this in Ende, it is a remote small suburb area and very close to airport. Its a small property decently maintained. Bathroom is well lighted, ventilated, all basic amenities provided. Our room did not had any view from the window and windows can not be opened also. Additionally AC is also not maintained properly. The food was good if you plan to have lunch or dinner, they will cook and give you fresh. The breakfast was fine not that good and options were limited. One positive note - since we had to start early morning 2.30 am for Mt Kelimutu trek, they packed the breakfast for us and kept it ready at 2 am and also they booked the cab for us as well. Overall a decent stay in Ende with well mannered stuff, nice food, ok but can be improved rooms. Best of luck and enjoy the early morning Kelimutu trek.

LCR hotel is at 5 minutes drive from the airport. The staff is very supportive and well spoken, they arranged rental bike for us and also made vegetarian food on request. They provide free pick-up and drop service from the airport.

Being even further into the mid-part of the island to go to Kelimutu, it was such a relief to find LCR & its team who was always ready to help. We had to go out at wee hours for Kelimutu trek which meant we wouldn’t be there during their breakfast hour. I asked for a ‘boxed egg sandwich’ & learnt that there was no egg prepared yet as we were about to leave. The security guy, the only staff awake @ that hour of course, went to the kitchen & made us sunny side up. Such flexibility & ever-readiness, I was impressed! Bed was super comfy & their in-house restaurant was a reliable source serving decent food, when others around were close on New Year’s holiday. Overall experience from a 3D2N stay is consistent.
