This hotel's location is amazing, right on the beach, with easy bus access to the centre of Dublin. The property is clearly well-built and well-appointed, if somewhat dated, with a good bathroom, great shower etc. But my bed was so old and saggy I had a hard time sleeping through the night. Finally, shabby housekeeping and extremely basic linens and in-room tea and coffee service make the experience feel very much like a 2-star stay at a 3-star price.

Naively we had booked this hotel on a Bank Holiday Sunday.. Great location, immediately on the sea front. Unfortunately our first impressions were clouded by the thumping music, traffic chaos from a radio seaside special (, music finished around 8pm)Weren't advised of this, wouldn't have booked had we known. Reception was efficient and welcoming. Then advised that no food after 6pm. We did dine, a pretty good carvery for €13 (half plate - which was plenty). Room was quiet and functional. Didn't stay for breakfast so can't comment. Looked a decent enough hotel in a great location... Possibly would stay again, but definitely at a quieter time of year

I was booked here with a group of friends. I was on a separate booking. I had to make numerous attempts to make the booking as the card payment kept failing but it did eventually go through. the staff however were in consternation as they had printouts of all the bookings. which showed to them as cancelled. I showed them the confirmation of my booking and evenually they agreed i did have a booking. My friends room was not ready even though it was after 3pm when checking is available from. The font desk didn't know this so sent them to the room which was not ready. Also it was made up as a twin. My room was too hot and the knobs on the radiator had been removed so I couldn't turn it off. I asked the front desk to sort it and this was eventually sorted. The bar staff were lovely. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Just needs some organisation from management.

Overall the hotel is fine. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The bedroom and the hotel in general felt clean and well maintained. However, the bed was not comfortable. The mattress gave almost no support and felt old and worn out. The tap water in the room could not be consumed and there was no bottle water provided which I felt was poor service. The only options where room service at a cost of €3.50 for a small bottle of water or the vending machines in the lobby that only take cash with no card facility. It's a small detail that only stands out when not provided. Probably not enough to put me off staying again.

We recently stayed for a night at this hotel. Yes our room wasn't the largest I have stayed in and it was a little 'tired', but it was clean as was the other areas of this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was absolutely fine. I would definitely stay there again. The location is stunning, a beautiful beach and seaviews.
