브랜던 하우스 호텔

While the rooms are in need of a revamp . The beds are comfortable. And clean . Basic facilities. No ac in room Its an old hotel some nice original features in it. Food in the bar very good definitely recommend. Portion sizes are large Staff are friendly and helpful. Haven't been to the spa . So can't review it . Pool area is large . With steam room and cold shower room Overall had an enjoyable stay . Good value for money

The reception staff are absolutely fabulous, and can't do enough for you. Our room was gorgeous, huge bed, quiet and comfortable. The Pool is exceptional. It's big, with great additions and the spa area is one of the best I've seen in a hotel in this country. A good hot sauna, great steam room, a painfully cold plunge pool (2°-4° Id guess, not the usual 12°+ you see around) Gallery Restaurant is really really good. Great food and wine with one outstanding waitnes (Sat 20th Sept) running about 10 tables by herself seamlessly. Breakfast is very good, a reasonable selection of the standard fry up elements, a really good Omelette station, good selection of fruits, breads and warm porridge The bar is the only poor part, prices are extortionate and service is very, very slow despite the 6 or 7 staff (including who looked like the bar mnager) running around behind it doing everything besides taking orders. Guinness was great though, comfortable seats. It's probably the brightest bar I've ever been in so lacks any atmosphere or ambiance unfortunately. Would definitely recommend this hotel, even just for the pool area alone it's worth the visit.

Hotel is very nice . The grounds around the hotel are stunning . Food was lovely and staff very friendly. The rooms just need slightly updating .

With exceptional staff and very good breakfast and lovely rooms and bar areas.

The room was beautiful, beds were comfortable and the food was delicious. It us up a hill so ensure you get there by car
