Quaint and charming but there is room for improvement
It is picturesque and the hotel grounds are lovely and well maintained. Shout out to the beautiful horse and badger that peacefully live there. The hotel itself is in need of an upgrade of some sort. Our room by the courtyard was quite small and cramped. The rug did not look too clean and didn't seem to be vacuumed when house cleaning came by. Our room heaters did not work either, but the other people in our party staying in a different room did not have this issue. This location is not too convenient if you plan on exploring the city. However, we came for a family event and chose to stay here as it was closer to the venue and were counting on the amenity of 'iron' and 'laundry services' which it does not have but it incorrectly listed on their website. Another important issue to note is that the hotel is located at the top of a gentle hill and the bus stop is not close by. Be warned you will need to carry your luggage all the way up to the main building if you do not have private transportation arranged.

Very good
For the price, it was a great choice, it was nothing fancy but it covered the basics. The staff member in the bar is a pure gentleman. I'm a coeliac and l was well catered for, so well done to the chef and many thanks. I would have no hesitation in recommending the place.

Nous avions réservé juste pour une nuit en sortie d'aéroport pour ensuite reprendre la route le lendemain. Super accueil du gardien de nuit malgré notre arrivée tardive (00h45). Chambre petite mais pour une étape cela nous suffisait. Excellent petit déjeuner buffet avec de la musique classique. Nous avons adoré
