We had a pleasant stay at this property. The beds were comfortable and the air con cold. There were, however, a few snags. The shower in one of the rooms was cold so we all had to share one. The lady working there is very sweet and speaks passable English (much better than my Thai!), but communication can still be difficult. Getting there and back can be a challenge unless you have your own vehicle. There is a bus but it only passes by a few times a day (a problem if, like us, you need to get back to town due to medical issues). Taxis are expensive and Grabs aren't easily available. That said, the area has some nice local restaurants and a 7-11. If you want to spend most of the day at Erawan Falls, staying here cuts down travel time. I would just recommend that you have your own vehicle though for ease of movement.

It is very close to waterfall and dam, quite and peaceful place. 7-11 and Gas Station near by. Recommend to stay there.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Suriyan Villa. I wanted something in close proximity to Erawan Falls that also had good dining options and a 7-11 within walking distance. The bungalows are simple, yet cute. Hot water showers, toiletries, and a fridge in the room. What more could you want? The beds are extremely hard as other reviewers have noted, but if you are travelling in Thailand this should not come as a surprise. The local bus does stop and pickup directly in front of the accommodation, however I was travelling back to Katchanaburi on a Thai holiday and the bus was not running on schedule. Travelers needing public transport should pay attention to this as the owner did not provide any assistance when I became stranded. Luckily, there is a police station right next door and the gentleman there called the bus company on my behalf and attempted to help. I ended up having to hitch back into town to catch my onward connection to Bangkok.

My partner and I rented a room at Suriyan Villa on the last weekend. Before renting the room, we wrote on WhatsApp to ask about the storage of luggage before check - in and the response of the owner was quick, on top of that she was very helpful The room and bathroom in impeccable condition; clean, fresh and good smelling room, you can see that the owner cares a lot about making guests feel comfortable. She wanted to order us a cab to the waterfalls, but we chose the Grab’s option because it was cheaper. The terrace in front of the room is also very nice. The light bulb in the bathroom did not work and the owner immediately replaced it. We highly recommend this place!

I highly recommend this hotel. It’s a very nice place to stay for a few days, located just about 10 minutes from the waterfalls by motorbike, taxi, or bus. It’s a great spot to relax and chill by the river, enjoy local boat trips, and have a peaceful stay close to Erawan National Park.
