I have realized that there are barely any reviews from a non-Chinese guest who stayed here so I'll make one. Reception : They do not speak English so be prepared to have an app translator if you don't speak Mandarin and wished to communicate with them. I knew a bit of Chinese but still wasn't understood. Haha. But the reception is very helpful and very friendly. They always greet once they see you. Location : I think this is the best factor of this hotel. It is located just across the East Lake, the border between the old and the modern downtown area. The bus stops which can take you to almost anywhere in the city is just few meters away. Right across is the People's Park which is an attraction in itself. A block away to the left is Nanya Plaza, a mall and a grocery. And further the Bo'ai Road is the Qilou Old Street. Breakfast : Standard Chinese- Congee, Noodles, Eggs, Steamed Buns, Fruits, Tea, Coffee. Doesn't vary much daily but the food tastes good. Ambiance : Really cool and cozy with blue and pink colors dominating. There is a service robot who does room service. The room is Ok, clean and equipped with an AI assistant that can open and close curtains for you. The toilet is my favorite because it resembled those Japanese types. Fare from airport to hotel via DiDi is around 35 yuan. I had a great stay here and will be back again here should I visit again Haikou,
