What a lovely find It takes me back to the good old days of travel when there was a connection between the proprietor and the guest The staff were so efficient and polite The cafe/ restaurant was always filled with regular locals All round as a place to stay for 3/4 days it’s a “find” The rooms had walk in showers, good quality fixtures and fittings and very comfortable,clean beds Don’t go expecting all the bling of a modern hotel only the simple things in life

Loved Hotel San Miguel
We actually stayed at this hotel for 2 nights but could only book a sea view room for one night online. When we arrived they were kind enough to let us stay in the same sea view room for the two nights with a minimal extra charge, instead of us having to change rooms. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the onsite restaurant is great for an authentic meal. This was one of my favourite stays during a month long trip in Spain.

Pearl in Peñiscola
Sparking clean, small comfy and cute room. The owner was welcoming and prepared delightful breakfast which includes a variety of items. Highly recommend.
