I love the unique architecture of this resort. It is small and private. Staff is very helpful. The resort is only around 2yrs old. However, Maintenance and cleanliness seem to lack as I can see quite a number of damaged wooden floor linings along the wall, accumulated dust at corners and sides of room. Itchiness on my body on the 1st night on the king bed. Cleanliness of sofa bed is poorer as my daughter received quite a number of bed bug bites on her legs. Nevertheless, I would still rate the property an 8. If they could improve the cleanliness and maintenance, I would have given a 9 rating.

If you’re looking to just stay in, away from the hustle and bustle of city life then this place may be for you. The place is located an hour’s drive away from the ferry terminal and any food area so be prepared to order room service or just pack tons of snacks because you can’t grab/gojek any food in. There’s in room spa service as well to complete your isolated retreat if you don’t feel like going out. Overall, a nice place for a quick getaway but it would’ve been better if they clean the room more thoroughly because there’s stains everywhere and a lot of dust lying around. The service was impeccable and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Staff are very polite and friendly. Villa Isla comes with private pool. Ideal holiday for those who want to spend some good quiet quality time with their loved ones.

Pros: -Very friendly staff, everybody smiles n greets you -Staff very accommodating to requests -Easy to communicate with them prior to trip, they ctc via whatsapp and respond time is very fast too -Good range of food( Indo, western, seafood) -Fantastic view, Rather new resort, generally very clean -They have massage service but you need to book 1hr in advance and they can massage for you in your room Cons: - As the personal pool is outdoor, u may find tiny flies in them, even if u ask them clean, they cant make it super clean, coz they cant drain the water fill it up - it is very secluded, no marts nearby, even the mart they have, has only cup noodles and little snacks. - They give u a free standup boat, but the sea did not look safe, too many branches n tree bark Nevertheless, will return again.

[ ] Continuous 6 times power outage on 26 Nov. Scary. Stuck in pool/bath in pitch darkness. No one came to even check on us. [ ] Called to asked for candles in case of more power outages. Said yes ok but they never came. [ ] Bicycles that were part of the package were all not working and seats were leaking water. [ ] 7.40pm no water supply in washrooms until 9pm [ ] Ants everywhere [ ] Hairdryer didn't work. [ ] Hot water is limited. After one shower, it finishes. Can only fill one-third bathtub with LUKE warm water [ ] Breakfast buffet was not available due to lack of guests. Room service breakfast. Limited choices. Super disappointing [ ] Room service breakfast from morning was not cleared until we came back to the resort at night. [ ] Room Service food was Singapore price (very expensive) for poor quality. Frozen satay sticks. Frozen and very dry chicken that was all red inside.
