Gumi Ayu EcoStay

Lovely cosy room with a view through the trees of a waterfall nearby. We came with kids but would be lovely if had this space with a partner or alone to fully appreciate it. Staff are exceptional. Living here the Balinese are in general exceptional but they go above in order to look after you. Food is great and you will get a healthy heart pounding coming up from your cabin as a few steps. Only thing I would say is the bath feature outside is lovely BUT please do change the water system to be able to have enough constant hot water to fill the bath hot. The dream to sit in a full hot bath while cold and crisp outside would be perfect. Sadly we cold only fill it a quarter full and even if we waited longer to refill, we could not fill the bath hot. Still, that aside, would definitely recommend staying here.

Overall is good. And if people like to stay in nature this is the place. Close to waterfall so you can hear it from your room. But not recommended for people who have problem with the stairs..

Memorable stay sleeping and waking up to the sounds of the nearby waterfall and birds chirping. Wonderful view of the lush greenery from the room and the restaurant with tables facing the hills. Cosy restaurant with lovely beanbags to sit and chill. Breakfast was customised, very filling and delicious. Enjoyed the cool weather due to the altitude of the place. Special mention to Nita, who was the sweetest receptionist/manager ever, serving us with a smile all the time and being so patient and helpful with our questions and requests. She also made us feel so welcomed and at home. We could feel her warmth and sincerity, which made our stay an unforgettable one. She certainly deserves a promotion and pay raise! The other staff were also very polite and welcoming, like Lilik who served us breakfast on one day. Kudos to the team who helped us carry our luggages to and fro our room. Would recommend this place to whoever looking to stay within nature in Munduk.

The staff here is wonderful, very helpful and accommodating. The villa is next to waterfall. The room we got had floor to ceiling window of the nature and it was so lovely to just stay in bed and watch the sky and forest during the day.

This property offers delicious breakfast and reliable wi-fi. The staff truly stand out, providing attentive and friendly service.
