If you're looking for a place to literally unwind from the city life then this is the place to go. I am a local and it's high time we appreciate our natural surroundings for what it is. Can't wait for my next trip there.

Pros - staff are friendly - spacious and clean room (we stayed at beachfront bure) - island activities are fun - great fire show - nice calm beach however its not white sand cons - food is average & repetitive - towel fibers sticks to skin and clothes & not absorbent - no cabinets to hang clothes in rooms - boat transfer is expensive - there is charge for wifi - pool is under maintenance

We just spent a week on Likuri Island (10 adults, 18-70). From the moment we stepped onto the boat, to when we stepped off on our last day, it was an awesome holiday. The staff were exceptional - there’s nothing they can’t do (cook, host, entertain) and always with a smile & great sense of humour. If you’re looking for a 5-star resort, this is not for you, but if you’re after what feels like an authentic glimpse of Fijian life, you’ll feel right at home. The resort itself is dated, and a little worn - but what it lacks in cosmetics, it excels in vibe and chill. There’s work to be done, but nothing doesn’t work. Best bits: The staff! They pull long hours and do multiple jobs including performing in the numerous shows each week. Just beautiful people all round. The food. Lovo meals are a highlight, the fish (sunfish this week!) is great & we had some of the best pork & crackling I’ve ever had in my life. Needs improvement: Cosmetically, work to be done. Outdoor bathrooms are a novelty, but could be updated. Room cleaning is on Fiji time (a broom in the rooms would help here) For the price, though, there’s not much to complain about. The main source of income for this resort are the day & night trippers. Shows, activities & lovo feasts are scheduled around the tours so things can get a little repetitive over time. Crowds on these nights can be big, do be sure to leave a towel or something on a table to reserve it. All in all, we loved our stay in Likuri Island and didn’t want to come home. Definitely recommend this one.

We had a great time at the resort. Took our 3 boys (4, 7, 9) and staff are so kind and multi talented. Food was excellent. We had our best relaxing time of all resorts in Fiji so far. Only one minor annoying detail is a pair of shoes disappeared and nowhere to be found. The beach is nice but the sea is not as clear as Mamanuca so snorkelling not ideal even with resort complimentary boat trips.

This island has it all, and the staff are incredible. It does feel like a home away from home, with kids free to roam around and families regroup for shared meal-times. Not the bells and whistles, but best basics and a great digital detox - no TVs and limited Wifi - I told my kid there was none. The shows draw crowds from the mainland, but they leave soon enough, and leave the island peaceful and with limited impact. Select rooms based on your creature comforts, the basic ones are basic, and the newer sea-view ones are way more luxe. Recommend swimming in the sea over the pool that isn't in great shape, but really the sea is so calm and safe, the pool isn't all that attractive in any case. Heaps of activities included in the room bookings and the shows live up to the reviews - fire dancing on the beach is awesome!! Would come back and recommend to wholesome families, couples, individuals.
