This is pleasant location, but hardly good value at current prices in the Cork region. The Agoda site is somewhat confusing as to whether the breakfast is included or not, as the text describing the room speaks of breakfast. In my case, breakfast was not included and I paid for the cooked breakfast. This was certainly a hot breakfast, it had obviously spent time in a hot oven, but it wasn't clear how long had elapsed since it had first been cooked. This was not good value. The room had a coffee machine, but it didn't work. The electric heater ensured that it was warm, but this was plugged into an adapter, which suggests a casual approach to electrical safety.

This was a wonderful find. The location is super close to downtown Cobh, either a very short drive or ~20 min walk. Room was clean and very pleasant. Breakfast was good but some of the food is kept in the kitchen so if you don’t already know it’s there then you might miss out. Dee was super pleasant and nice. My only issue for myself and another occupant was that contacting the staff can be difficult. When we arrived the door was locked and after ringing the doorbell a few times staff arrived. But for another occupant they had to go around the house until they saw us through a window and got us to open the front door. We also needed something but couldn’t find anyone to ask. But I’d stay there again and I also recommend it to others.

Incredible view, quaint, magical house, a gourmet breakfast and a wonderful, engaging and helpful staff. I give my highest recommendation for staying here. You will be so pleased you did.

Lovely old style b+b great if you wanna relax or do yoga or just do nothing . Lovely gardens and staff very friendly . They do have house dogs around the house so if that bothers you this is not the place for you.
