I was in town for the long weekend for an event so I needed a basic, budget-friendly room and this was perfect. Bed was comfy and clean and included electric blankets (it got quite cold at night) and there's a heater/AC unit. I liked that the room included a microwave; bowls, plates, cutlery, even a tea towel, cloth and dish detergent were provided in the side-board drawer, along with the usual tea and coffee sachets, and biscuits. They provided a complimentary continental breakfast too (cornflakes, wheatbix, muesli, canned fruit salad, orange juice, tea/coffee, milk, toast). It's right on the main south entrance road into Wangaratta, and the rooms don't really have any sound-proofing, but traffic noise wasn't too bad. Although there were hoons speeding around in the middle of the night one night and there was a possum (or some animal) in the ceiling scrabbling around and chewing on wooden beams around 6am both mornings. Quick 5 minute drive into the town centre, close to fast food restaurants. Bathroom could do with an update though - all pink '70s style tiles and basin with separate hot/cold water taps. Shower is quite small. Would I stay here again? Yes, it served its purpose.

I'm a stickler for cleanliness, and this motel exceeded my expectations. The rooms were spotless, and everything was well-maintained. Not only that, but all the facilities I needed were right there. It's so convenient when everything is close by! Whether it was grabbing a bite to eat or finding some entertainment, I didn't have to go far. The staff was also fantastic. They were friendly, accommodating, and had great local knowledge. They gave me some amazing recommendations for nearby restaurants that I wouldn't have discovered on my own. East check in and check out. Room includes breakfast of toast, cereals, milk, coffee and tea. There's a chemist warehouse just across the Motel. Good base to drive to nearby Rutherglen, Corowa, Milawa and Shepparton.

Perfect overnight accommodation for my purpose travelling from the Illawarra to Melbourne. Friendly staff, clean basic room, decor a bit dated but functional. It was a very hot day and their pool was a blessing. Bonus continental breakfast included too. I'd stay here again.
