HI Vila Nova de Cerveira - Pousada de Juventude

There for one night - staff helpful and all the basic services - I arrived early and room Was not ready but they quickly checked and was able to check in early before 3pm - within 5 minutes of my arrival which was awesome!! Nice spaces including breakfast area. breakfast started at 8 but was told sometimes if got there earlier it was ok. had great range of fruit and also few vegetable options which was appreciated. I didn’t find the bed or pillows comfortable but that is always a personal thing. The room was very hot and the fan didn’t really help much and with window open road very noisy so didn’t sleep Well even after arduous day on the Camino. The shower tap was timed but ridiculously short time (approx 10-20 second) so very difficult to get to right temperature and then to use hands to shampoo etc.. the laundry was great but sternly asked when heading that direction where I was going - heading to laundry where they told me it was of course - was summoned back to desk and advised apparently they have to operate machine for you, paid my Money and she waited very patiently while I checked pockets etc to load the machine and then she pushed the buttons I requested on the machine - dryer was not working so had to hang on one out back but pegs supplied and heaps of room. Only a short walk to the town centre and not far to supermarket. Saw some parking for bikes which was good to see. Would stay again
