Very run down and needs an upgrade. The room had a smell of cigarette smoke in it along with the corridor. No smoking signs were completely ignored. The bed was ok, but there was nowhere to make a coffee without going into the small kitchen area, which needed a lot more in it. All there was was a microwave and kettle and that was it. So bring your own cups and tea and coffee if you want one! The shared bathroom and toilets needed a good clean. Overall not really the staff’s fault but they need to left their game.

They need to spend some money on the place

The other people are right : the room would be ok, but room cold and damp in daytime too ; carpet has embedded cheesy feet odor; bed and bedboard has stale smoker perfume; bugs crawling up bedhead at night. Long term residents loud in corridor near kitchen and manager residence...smokers leave fire door open all night ( repeatedly putting it on retaining string ) at their smoking yard, making draft. Brief customers subsidize l-t residents

Cosy, comfortable enough, convenient to shops cafes and transport - lovely staff.

Very clean. We had an issue trying to contact the night manager we made numerous attempts to call with no answer as we were unable to leave the premises due to an issue with the front door. !!!!! Does make you think twice before staying again!!!!
