Choosing to stay at Balam Villa Bali was truly the best decision we could have made. Originally, we had booked a homestay in the heart of Ubud, but the stark contrast between the photos and reality led us to switch to this gem for a delightful 6-day stay. Balam Villa Bali exceeded our expectations with its impeccable cleanliness and tidiness, offering a level of service that truly felt like a 5-star experience. Here are just a few highlights that made our stay unforgettable: 1. Rita was always on hand to promptly address any inquiries, a refreshing change from other places where we had to wait days for a response. 2. While the villa is a 30-minute drive from Ubud city center, they conveniently provide scooter rental services upon request. 3. On the third day of our stay, Rita noticed we were feeling under the weather and graciously accompanied us to buy vegetables and ensure we had the necessary medication. 4. Rita graciously granted us access to the kitchen, generously offering her eggs, rice, garlic, and an array of seasonings. Though we were deeply moved by her kindness, we still opted to purchase these items ourselves. 5. Upon our departure, both Rita and Wayan waited until our car had departed before bidding us farewell. The warmth and attentiveness we experienced at Balam Villa Bali truly set it apart as a haven of exceptional care in Bali. With Rita at the helm, we have no doubt that we will return to this sanctuary in the future. Heartfelt thanks for providing us with such a remarkable travel experience!

I am very happy that i found this stay for Ubud tour in bal. I stayed here for 3 days and I can tell that you will for sure love staying here. It’s very hygienic and the place is so calm and nice. Love it. Not to forget staff is very friendly and they help you in all the was possible. And you even have bicycle to go around the place. All stars 🎖️🎖️🎖️🎖️🎖️ to this hotel ❤️. I would surely recommend this stay for your trip in and around Ubud, bali.

El lugar es maravilloso y el personal encantador. Sin duda, volvería. La dueña Rita es super amable y siempre dispuesta a ayudar.Muy recomendable.

Arrived at this villa only to find the gate locked with nobody answering the bell and a couple of mobile phone numbers on the wall. This is NOT the kind of welcome I wanted after 3 hours riding a motorcycle. I was hot, tired and thirsty and locked out. Went elsewhere to get food and drink and eventually got through to one of the numbers - the owner - who was overseas. To make matters worse I was woken up after midnight - I think around 1:30 or 2am - by a noisy group of about 6 people talking loudly and carrying on right outside my room, between the pool and my room. Look at the picture and you can see this only about 3-4 metres from where I was trying to sleep. I went outside to ask if they could keep the racket down to a dull roar and turns out it was the OWNER with some friends and guests who had arrived from overseas. No real apology, only some vague explanation the next morning about what a great time they were having. Yay. The joint is lovely but it is not run or managed for the benefit of paying guests, but for the owner.
