Hopeless Service.
Checked in the hotel with a bare minimum expectations since it was my transit halt while going to Mudumalai Tiger Reserve. Hotel charged me around 1200/- rupees for overnight stay. Checked in around 2:30 and checked out next day at 7:00 am. There was no basic toiletries in the bathroom like soap, etc. Bath towel too I had to ask. The Hotel simply cut off water supply in bathroom in the night. So, next day morning I did not get shower. I had leave early to reach Mudumalai, so started around 7:00 am . There was no light in the stellar parking area, it was informed to the Caretaker but they were not bothered about it . I was scared to go to the parking area in morning when it was still dark. I feel at this price you will definitely get better hotel for stay. On my return, I stayed in property opposite to Devengere Bus Stop, it was cheaper than Hotel Shoven and much more cleaner and the staff too very welcoming and nice . My recommendation avoid this property.
