The room in the beautifully renovated modern farmhouse is on one of the highest (if not the highest) points in La Bastide-de-Sérou, and offers a magnificent panoramic view of the valley and successive mountain ranges. The farmhouse is a 30-min walk from the 454 bus stop (linking Foix and Saint-Girons) unless you drive, but I found the experience well worth it. The room was well insulated and tastefully decorated, and the hosts were as discreet as they were attentive, gentle and kind. It is ideal for a good rest or retreat. Breakfast was copious and delightful with a variety of warm and cold drinks, homemade yoghurt, warm fresh bread and pastries, and jam made on the farm. When it rained, the host even drove me to the bus stop in the village centre. I would definitely recommend Lèdre.🌟
