알라카 앳 마푸시

We 4 persons stayed here for 3 days. I preferred this property due to seeing the reviews from booking & agoda. Upto this,every things were ok. As the owner does not stay here his manager Mr Hedu, looks after this property. I booked one day excursion by Mr Hedu, he took 120 usd for each person. My cousin also with me who stayed icom hotel & they were also 4 persons booked the same place for excursion for whole days. We went to Rannalhi Island and came to know from my cousin that they were charged 100 usd / per as they did not opted for snorkelling and liquors. I told the same things to Mr Hedu while briefing as we are muslims & my wife and daughters wear hijab. After coming back I politely asked why did he do it? I want to talked to Alaika'a owner. In fact that time I came to know that he was doing job here,he was from India. The owner name is Mr Muaz who stayed in Male. I took his number too. Before that I wanted to book ferry next day at 12 pm. He asked 20 usd/ per where every where in Maahfushi, It was written/ placed poster that ferry charge would be 15 usd. His replied that this rate is 20 usd for hotels. 😊 Then he told me with good gesture he would try to book by 15 usd. By this time I was almost clear about his intention. Even though, I told him book 4 tickets for me with immediate effect & let me know please. Getting delayed by Mr Hedu I contacted my cousin and told him to book 4 tickets for us and checked the list if 4 pers were included from hotel Alaika, then no need to book. He informed me after 20 mins that no booking from our hotel & he booked our tickets too. I informed Mr Dev who was helping / kitchen staff in Alaika to inform Mr Hedu not to do any booking for us. Good news was I got 60 usd from excursion and ultimately they took 105 usd / per instead of 120 usd. It is always man behind the gun how the gun would behave. Alaika is very good place to stay, their breakfast is good, accommodations are good. But be aware from manager. Better do every things at your own.
