Hotel Samrat

The staff was quite cooperative and friendly. I felt at easy staying there. Most importantly, the location of Hotel is best suited to frequent travelers from nearest Railway Station and bus stand.

I am writing this to warn fellow travelers about my recent stay at Hotel Samrat. Despite booking a "Deluxe AC Room" through Agoda for a premium price, the experience was nothing short of a nightmare. The Room Conditions: The room was severely unhygienic and infested with pests, including cockroaches, black ants, and bed bugs. The bed sheets provided were torn, the toilet seat was unsanitary, and the room was filled with spider webs. The infrastructure is in a state of decay; the wallpaper and floor are chipped in various places, and the overall room environment was not fit for human habitation. Broken Amenities & Service Failure's: The AC was completely non-functional. I had to change rooms three times, after which the issue was resolved. The staff admitted there was only one remote for 12 rooms. The shower, TV, and toilet flush were all broken. I personally had to use a bucket of water to flush the toilet throughout my entire stay. I was charged for an "extra bed" that was never provided, and the "Free WiFi" listed in my booking benefits was completely non-operational. Final Verdict: While the staff were polite & helpful , they were clearly overwhelmed by the systemic failure of the property. This hotel is misleadingly marketed as a "premium" accommodation. I have documented over 20+ instances of these failures with photographic evidence, which I have shared with the booking platform. Save your money and peace of mind do not book this property. If you choose to stay here, you are paying for non-existent amenities and unacceptable living conditions.
