Review for Hotel Emerland, Chandigarh (Sector 7C/8) I recently stayed at Hotel Emerland in Chandigarh for two days, and I must say that my experience was not up to par. There were several issues that I encountered during my stay which I feel compelled to share. First and foremost, locating the hotel was a challenge. The hotel shares a property with other shops downstairs, and the crowded market and vehicles obscured the facade, making it difficult to identify. Furthermore, reaching the reception involved climbing a long flight of high stairs. This could pose a problem for individuals with arthritis or those requiring wheelchair assistance. I would not recommend this hotel for such guests. Upon entering my room, I was disappointed to find that it was not adequately cleaned. There were noticeable stains on the table and scattered here and there, which gave the impression that the room hadn't been properly attended to. This lack of cleanliness was quite off-putting and affected my overall comfort during the stay. Another issue I encountered was with the television in the room. It was difficult to operate, and I had some trouble adjusting the channels and volume. This was an inconvenience that could have been easily avoided with better maintenance and instructions provided in the room. It is worth noting that the hotel consists of two buildings, and one of them does not have a restaurant. This could be an inconvenience for guests looking for a convenient dining option within the premises. However, the breakfast served at the hotel was passable, although nothing exceptional. In conclusion, my experience at Hotel Emerland in Chandigarh was underwhelming. The difficulties in locating the hotel, the lack of cleanliness in the rooms, the problematic television, and the limited dining options were all factors that contributed to my dissatisfaction. I would not recommend this hotel, particularly for individuals with mobility issues or those seeking a comfortable and well
