Property is great, views from this place are amazing. The restaurent serves very tasty food. Staff is very courteous and helpful .

We stayed for two nights. The stay was exceptionally good primarily the staff was exceptional, food was also very satisfying. The rooms can be improved and the tariff appeared on the higher side. The location is about 3.5 Kms from the City centre but transport is not an issue. Family with old people may face some challenges as rooms are not approachable by cart. The resort is highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at blackberry and would highly recommend this resort to others. Best part of the stay: The location of the property, views from the rooms (we stayed in family villa), parking, best food spread, all the staffs including the chef (going above and beyond to prepare what we literally craved for upon special request) , hospitality of the staff, the ambience and the theme of co existence with nature (none of the major trees were cut as part of building this resort, even the comb and tooth brush is eco friendly) everything seemed extra ordinary. The rooms are purely ethnic, and with traditional outlook, some may like, some may not.. we did like it though. For travellers attention: Infrastructure wise : Rooms are built below the cliff making it tough for people with disability or old aged to reach specific rooms climbing up and down via staircase and inclined pathways. Make sure you check for the same and book the rooms close to where the pick and drop electric vehicle facility is provided. Resort does have electric vehicle to help travellers reach till a specific point (before the rooms) instead of climbing up or down completely By self. So that’s a good part. What can be improved/ re looked / limitations in the property - the additional tax of room delivery shall be ruled out. - vehicle washing provision shall be provided (we can surely bear the cost) - I am someone who prefers a ceiling fan and that was something not there in the property. I had to ask for a pedestal fan. Team did meet my request on time. So thanks for that - there was no refrigerator in the family villa. After paying almost 20+k I expect this as a basic requirement even though we are in a hill station. This was a turn off for me. - family villa in website shows bath tub; our room didn’t had any bathtub. Same with air conditioning, it was mentioned but not there . Leaving apart some of these limitations, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this property for the beautiful memories it provided to us. Thanks Britto, Shiva (reception), restaurant team including the Chef himself and the security staff for helping us throughout. PS: travelling during long weekend and holidays is a tough affair in Munnar these days due to narrow roads and heavy vehicle usage ; as u will face a pathetic traffic conditions so plan accordingly. We spent almost 5 -6 hours overall in traffic only in just two days. Cheers Jay

We booked this resort after so much research on the reviews. We observed one common statement across various reviews was about their customer service. Man , those weren’t a lie. First about the property, well cleaned and maintained, pleasant views and very close to nature. The entire family loved it. Next about the food, lunch and dinner are good and reasonably priced. Breakfast lacks options. We used the swimming pool and Indoor play area. Other amenities were not used either due to poor weather or people availability. Lastly about the staffs, man, they will make you feel home. Extremely friendly and courteous people. Definitely you should stay here only for their staff . Small things such as receiving us at the door step and sending off till the parking lot, those things really makes an impact. Overall it was a fantastic stay.

The room felt old but cute. The staff was very friendly. They explained everything clearly. Also, whatever we had in the restaurant was great. The tea was cold, though, and for the yoga session, they called us late, and we were not able to join it, but some fault is on our part as well; we overslept. The location is very approachable yet far away from the main city center. All in all we had a great stay
